Principal

Christine joined SurgCenter Development in 2003 as a consultant, brought in to assist the company in creating business office standards and best practices that could be easily replicated as the Company began to experience significant and rapid growth. In 2004, Christine accepted the newly created position of Director of Business Office Operations and in 2007 assumed responsibilities as Vice President of Operations and Market Development. She became a Principal of the Company in 2011 and simultaneously assumed the role of Chief Development and Operations Officer; a position she currently holds in addition to serving on the Executive Committee. In Christine’s 12 plus years with SurgCenter Development she has been directly involved in growing the company’s infrastructure and in the development of over 125 physician owned ASCs.

Tenet closes $1.1B surgery center deal

Dallas-based Tenet paid $1.1 billion to acquire SurgCenter Development's ownership interests in 86 ambulatory surgery centers and related services, the company said in a Dec. 22 news release. USPI has offered to acquire a portion of equity interests in the ASCs from physician owners for $250 million.
